Squish Squash Squeeze!

Mouse thinks he’s found the perfect new house. But who’s that growling by the piano? And who’s that snapping in the bathtub? Soon, the house is bursting at the seams. What a squish-squash-squeeze!
I like the characters in this book: Mouse is so focussed on his own dream home that he doesn’t take any notice of anyone trying to put him off, and the big scary animals all end up doing as they’re told (they’re quite sweet really). I’m particularly pleased with the picture of the Tiger whizzing down the bannisters – WHOOSH!
I couldn’t make the final image work on a double page spread, so I negotiated a much bigger piece of paper – someone clever at Little Tiger suggested the fold-out page which was perfect!
